题目TitleRydberg Atom Based Quantum Simulation and Quantum Computation

摘要Abstract 

Rydberg arrays have recently emerged as a competitive physical platform for quantum simulation and quantum computation. In this talk, I will share with you our recent works toward large scale quantum annealing, finite temperature quantum computation, and exotic phase transition, which have direct consequences for Rydberg experimental platform. First, I will introduce a programmable quantum annealing architectures with Ising quantum wires. We constructed a locally coupled spin model on a 3D cubic lattice, with only on-site fields and nearest-neighbor two-body interactions, which is sufficient to effectively produce arbitrary all-to-all coupled Ising Hamiltonians to implement quantum annealers. The second is a quantum kernel function expansion algorithm for determining the thermodynamic quantities of quantum many-body systems, which has been inspired by the kernel polynomial method in classical Hamiltonian simulation. At last, I will talk about the duality between many-body dynamics and static Hamiltonian ground states for both classical and quantum systems. By this duality, we showed the corresponding ground state phase transitions are characterized by bulk-to-surface response, which are then dubbed “peratic” meaning defined by response to the boundary. All these results provide insightful guidance for exploring the unique features of the Rydberg platform in a lab.

邱型泽,2019年在中国科学技术澳门威尼克斯人网站获得物理学博士学位,目前在复旦澳门威尼克斯人网站从事博士后研究。他的研究领域包含原子、分子、光物理,以及量子模拟、量子计算等,特别是在里德堡原子领域已经做出了一系列关于量子计算和模拟的高质量工作。迄今,他在绝热量子计算、非平衡量子动力学、拓扑物理等研究方向于 Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications,PRX Quantum,npj Quantum Information 等期刊发表多篇高水平论文。
